Isabelle Quinn, MSW

Registered Social Worker

Location: Victoria

Licence Number: 18227

Isabelle Quinn is a Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers, and a graduate of the Master of Social Work program at York University. Her path to psychotherapy has been grounded in a belief that relationships shape us in profound ways—and that the relationship we create together in therapy can itself become a meaningful part of healing.  She brings warmth, curiosity, and compassion to her work, creating a space where clients can feel safe to show up as they are and explore what they may be carrying.

Isabelle is particularly drawn to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) because of its deeply humanizing and relational approach. She offers clients a space to better understand themselves and their experiences with greater compassion, creating room for meaningful change. Isabelle’s own longstanding experience with EFT, followed by training with Dr. T. Leanne Campbell, helped her recognize an approach to therapy that felt deeply aligned with how she understands individual healing.

Isabelle has provided counselling to people navigating a range of life and mental health challenges, and most recently supported individuals and families navigating Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. Her earlier work in community mental health settings and as a suicide and crisis line responder confirmed for her the importance of meeting people where they are, with empathy, presence, and without judgment.

Isabelle has completed Level 1 & 2 training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy and is currently completing Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
